Welcome to the new Glasgow Helps

Glasgow Helps was originally launched at the start of the COVID-19 pandemic to help connect people to new services that could support them during lockdown. It did a fantastic job but there wasn't much time to plan and we always knew there was so much more it could achieve. Even after lockdowns ended, the high number of visitors to the site showed us that there is a real need for a longer-term solution in Glasgow to help people find community based support.

We've spent a lot of time talking to people to

Almost everything is different on the new site. With more time to plan, we've re-built the site from the ground up using a lot of feedback from people across the city to guide us. You can now search for services by postcode and distance rather than being limited to pre-set 'neighbourhoods'. Services now have much clearer categories and tags which were designed by users themselves to make searching easier. Our search pages now contain much clearer information to help give you an idea of what services offer and who they're for. There's so much to discover and the best way to see the difference is to explore for yourself.

Not yet. We have a lot of information on services across Glasgow but some of it was out of date and related to things happening during the pandemic. We want to make sure all of the information on the new site is good quality and relevant to what people need now. We'll be working hard to add more listings to the site so please bookmark us ad come back regularly to see what's new.

Registering for an account allows you to create 'collections' of services which you can share with others. If you're involved in an organisation you can also manage your organisation and its services. If you need help with your account you can contact us with the details below.
