The Women’s Service has been set up for women who are survivors of abuse with the emphasis on empowering women to improve their quality of life with support and guidance.

Every woman referred, who accepts the support, receives an initial assessment, before deciding how she wishes to progress.

The woman and her support worker will create an action plan together to work towards goals which ultimately will improve the woman’s sense of self-worth and belonging. This can last up to 6 months with every woman being fully supported to reach a positive destination.

Participants can also be signposted to our Elevate service, who have opportunities for volunteering, training courses and employability.
