u3a gives you opportunities to develop your interests, make new friends and have fun.

There are more than 1,000 u3as across the UK. Each u3a runs interest groups, chosen and run by the members, on a wide range of subjects - both for learning and to keep active. Members form interest-based communities, where they learn from and with each other, not for qualification but the joy of learning. The subjects are wide-ranging - from Architecture and Biology to Yoga and Zoology - and each u3a runs a variety of different groups and activities.

In Glasgow west end we have over 40 activity, learning and social groups. For more information on their activities, view our groups page and click on the name of any group that interests you.
