PEEK THRIVE provides uses play, sports and the arts to engage with and support young people. Projects are delivered within both, education, and community settings as well as residential weekends, trips and external training and volunteering opportunities.

This includes:

  • Volunteering: providing opportunities for young people aged 14-18 to gain work experience and qualifications before entering higher education or the workforce
  • Early Intervention - Your Choice: A project that offers workshops working with young people around improving behaviour and outlooks, based on issues affecting their local area. Topics include but are not limited to: Knife crime, Team Building, Sectarianism, Gambling, Fire Safety, Women’s Aid, First Aid focused on stab wounds and substance abuse, Controlled Aggression and Discipline and Career Progression
  • Community Champs: working with young people offering a range of tailored sessions to develop confidence, self-esteem and leadership.
  • Awards: Offering children and young people the opportunity to achieve awards including: Arts Award, Hi5 Award, Dynamic Youth Award, Youth Achievement Award
