Venture On To Recovery supports adults living in Glasgow who are in recovery (abstinent) from drug and/or alcohol addiction.

The programme is delivered over 3 days each week. Participants will spend one a week working towards two Level 3 SQA personal development qualifications, one day taking part in an outdoor activity such as hillwalking, canoeing or climbing, and one day joining a group discussion based session. Participants will also have the chance to have one-to-one support sessions and take part in two residentials staying in bothies (simple cottages) in the Scottish Borders and Highlands.

Venture On supports people's recovery journey by providing the opportunity to gain skills and qualifications, take time to discover who they are away from their addiction, feel self-worth and purpose, learn strategies to understand and improve their mental wellbeing, and identify and work towards their future goals.
