Currently our team provides the following programmes:

  • Anger Management: A 20 session programme aimed at improving skills relating to emotional management and developing appropriate coping strategies in relation to anger.
  • Offending/Violence Is Not The Only Choice: These programmes are aimed at helping young people understand the links between the way they think and their behaviours and the impact their behaviours can have on others. They also help identify risk areas that may prove harmful to themselves or others and teach skills to reduce those risks. Support is also given to develop relapse prevention strategies
  • Friends for Life - Prevention of Anxiety/Depression: This programme promotes resilience as well asĀ emotional and social competencies in young people.
  • Family Support: A six week course for parents/carers around handling teenage behaviour

    Don't Worry Be Happy will address the mental health/wellbeing inequalities experienced by deafblind people. It offers deafblind people an equitable approach to improving their mental health through accessible phone/home-based one-to-one sessions - mental health brief interventions, advice/support.
