This service involves the following:

  • Single Parent Community Hubs: Local hubs that allow parents to meet each other and socialise as well as access information on activities and services local to them
  • School Holiday Activity Programme: A family activity programme run through the school holidays which involves fun days out and activities for both parents and children to enjoy
  • Access to local resources and services: The family support team are happy to share information and introduce families to other local projects that can help support them in bringing up their children on their own.
  • Podcast: The Family Support workers offer a podcast where they talk about a wide range of services offered, including translation services.
