Maslow's Community Hub (across the road from our Community Shop) is a warm and welcoming space for everyone in the community. 

We have a range of classes every week, which will always include at least one of the following:

-English Class (for asylum seekers and refugees in the community)

-Computer Class

-Music class (Ukelele, Guitar, etc)

-Craft Classes (knitting, jewellery making, sewing etc)

-Active Class (Yoga, self-defense etc)

-Advice and support sessions (this includes housing advice workshops for asylum seekers, CV writing workshops, financial responsibility workshops etc)

All classes are free of charge.  Travel expenses can be paid for some classes.

We also have at least 2 hours every day for "Internet Cafe and General Drop-In". We have 8 computers and laptops are available for anyone in the community, particularly those who cannot access the internet/ computers at home, to come in and have a hot drink and use it for anything they need. During this time we also have 1-2-1 advice and support available for anyone who needs help with things like universal credit applications/ opening bank accounts/ NHS Forms etc, or if you just want to find out more about what activities and services there are in the area.
