Helpline - NSPCC Scotland

Delivered by NSPCC Scotland
Note: We deliver remotely

Our Helpline is for adults who have concerns that a child may be (or is) facing abuse.

When you first call a handler will as a few basic questions to help them understand your worries and may also give you answers to any questions you have. If need be, they will put you through to a child protection specialist who will assess the situation and tell you the next steps.

If there is a serious concern and the child/young person has been identified, the specialist will make a report to social services and may contact the local police if the child/young person appears to be in imminent danger.
