Our Helpline is free to call from all UK landlines and major UK mobile providers and can provide support on a range of topics related to childhood deafness including:

  • Diagnosis and how to work with health professionals
  • Education, including early years, special educational needs (SEN), further and higher education
  • Welfare benefits and other financial support
  • Communication options and support
  • Technology and equipment to support deafness
  • Disability discrimination issues
  • Options after leaving school
  • Finding support in your area

If you need specialist advice, we can refer you to our Advice and Guidance officers who will contact you remotely through the likes of Zoom/Teams/Facetime with face to face meetings where needed.

    We provide 1-1 support for families experiencing a crisis, particularly around health and wellbeing. We provide group-based activities for families to come together and develop relationships with others through cooking workshops and family holiday provision.
