Glasgow Ramblers is a friendly walking group for people of all ages who enjoy walking in the countryside or the city with others who share their enthusiasm.

Our walking group arranges a walks programme suitable for people with different levels of experience and fitness. Walks are typically arranged for weekends with occasional mid-week walks. Each walk, graded according to the level of challenge, is led by one of our volunteer walk leaders.

If you think you might enjoy walking with us, please have a look at the other pages on this website or our facebook page, and come out with us on one of our walks. Please read our What you need to know page before coming on your first walk.

You do not need to join to enjoy a first walk. Just contact the walk leader and come along for a taster.

We ask walkers to contact the leader by phone or email a few days in advance to say that they would like to go on their walk, confirm the transport arrangements and the walk details. Where cars are needed, the leader needs to know well in advance if you require or can offer a lift.
