  • Performing arts

The Glasgow Community Mental Health and Wellbeing Fund has provided support for this community project for 12 months. Starting on Monday 8th April the Choir will meet weekly to learn singing techniques and develop a repertoire of songs that will be performed (if people want to) at community events.

Singing as part of a choir has many benefits, the main benefit is the social aspect of being part of a group and sharing experiences. It's physically good for you and improves lung health as well as increasing oxygen supply to the whole body.

Overall it improves wellbeing and reduces isolation.
