Community Garden - Woodlands Community Development Trust

Delivered by Woodlands Community Development Trust
Note: this service is only for people who live in Woodlands
  • Environmental issues
  • Community gardening

Our garden open afternoons are open to local people who want to help us keep the garden as a special place for both people and nature. Gardening activities are more suitable for adults rather than children. Even if we have more volunteers than garden jobs available you are free to come along to chat and socialise with others.

The open afternoons take place every alternate Sunday between 1pm and 4pm and operate on a drop in basis.

We also run weekly volunteer sessions on Mondays 5-7pm and Tuesdays 10am-12pm. The main tasks during these sessions revolve around tidying such as weeding, pruning and watering. No previous gardening experience is needed and instructions will be given.

There is also a group in the smaller Willowbank Crescent garden on Mondays 5-7pm. Please contact willowbank@woodlandscommunity.org.uk for more information for this group
