Services on offer include - 

  • Vocational ESOL Courses:

These are typically 90 hours of sector specific ESOL for the workplace, often designed with particular employers in mind. It helps clients understand the language used in work and is a useful pre-placement activity making our work placements more effective. Clients study towards a Working with Others qualification at the end of the courses.

  • Placements:

To provide practical work place experience with an employer. This is unpaid, usually 2 days a week for 6 weeks. We provide placements in the sectors the clients have previously been employed in, if possible. This will give clients the opportunity to gain practical experience, get an understanding of Scottish work culture which will help with applications and interviews and updated information for their CV.

  • Employability Support:

If you are allowed to work in the UK you might benefit from our Equipped for the Future Course, a 3 week course (15 hours per week), which will help you understand your skills and your past experience. You will complete applications, write a CV, meet employers, have a chance to practice interview and presentations skills and search for jobs.
You must have a minimum of National 4 English or be working towards it and you must be prepared to attend all the sessions.
