  • Befriending

We know how lonely it can feel at any age, which is why at Deaf Action we have a Befriending Service to allow deaf and hard of hearing people to meet new people. If you or someone you know could do with a friendly face to chat to, our befriending service can help you meet people with similar interests and communication preferences for conversation and companionship.

Deaf BSL users, deafened, deafblind, and hard of hearing adults (18 and over) are all welcome to use our befriending service to meet new people. This service is available in English or BSL, so no matter what language you use, we’ll connect you to the right people.

We offer online and face to face befriending, so no matter your circumstances, you can use this service.
