Radio Buena Vida CIC
Radio Buena Vida is an independent community radio station, café and cultural space based in Govanhill. We widen access to music, broadcasting and cultural opportunities, particularly for people underrepresented within mainstream music and culture.
We broadcast seven days a week, providing a platform for hundreds of volunteer presenters, DJs, artists and community contributors. We also provide music and radio workshops, training, volunteering and live events.
Our public-facing cafe acts as an accessible community hub where people can engage with culture without needing prior experience or existing connections. Central to our work is removing financial and institutional barriers to participation.
