North East Recovery Community (NERC) is a peer led charity that provides a variety of recovery initiatives in Glasgow, with the aim of promoting and assisting recovery from addiction to alcohol and drugs. NERC is ran by a fantastic team of volunteers all who have come through their own unique recovery journey.

North East Recovery Community has six recovery cafes situated across the North East of Glasgow. Each of our cafés are run by our dedicated team of volunteers and offer individuals recovering from addiction and their family a safe and friendly environment to meet.

All our cafes run various groups and complimentary therapies such as Recovery Meetings, CA meetings and Acu-Detox.

Everyone is welcome to pop along to our recovery cafes and meet our volunteers and get peer led advice and support as well as some lunch and a cup of tea.
