At The Lodging House Mission we offer a wide range of activities to encourage our service users to take steps to reduce the chaos in their lives.

We take pride in providing our service users with one of the basic necessities for survival - food - in a safe, warm and trusted environment. We operate an open door policy where no-one is turned away. We want our service users to feel welcome so that they not only enjoy a good meal but also benefit from the social and emotional aspects of attending.

People use the Day Centre for a variety of different reasons.
For many, attending our Day Centre is the first step in reducing the feelings of isolation and loneliness which are often caused by living a chaotic life, homelessness as well as mental illness.

SKILLS COURSES: Number Crunching, Milestones Recovery Group, DIY, CV Writing, Digital Photography, CreativeWriting Workshop, Computing and Cookery
VOCATIONAL COURSES: Basic Computing and Personal Presentation through John Wheatley College Community Involvement, Momentum Personal Development and Woodworking

As well as access to our state- of- the art learning centre, specifically designed courses and workshops to promote, we actively encourage addiction recovery focused groups and activities, which are popular and well attended.
