LGBT Health and Wellbeing works to improve the health, wellbeing and equality of lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender (LGBT) people in Scotland.

    The Language Cafe brings together people from the LGBT+ community in the Greater Glasgow area who want to share and learn about languages and cultures.

    An online book group for gay and bisexual men in Scotland

  • Note: this service is only for LGBTQ+ people and refugees or asylum seekers

    You can join our What’s App group to connect with other LGBTQ+ asylum seekers and refugees and find out about all upcoming social events and groups.

    If you need we can provide mobile phones and data top-ups to help you join the group.

    Rainbow Ukes is an inclusive, welcoming, and fun group that meets weekly to learn to play the ukulele. We focus on learning a variety of songs together, and playing the songs we already have in our repertoire!

    Telefriending is a phone-based service delivered by a friendly and experienced team of volunteers. It offers regular phone calls to older LGBT+ people (50+) who might be isolated, to give you the space to be yourself and talk about things you may not have anyone else to talk to about.

    LGBT Age Goes to Town is an opportunity to meet once a month at a regular time (when possible) in a different location around Glasgow which will give opportunity to explore what is onsite or nearby.

    A safe space for LGBT+ people who are 50 and over to have a brew and a blether. Come catch up with old friends or make new connections

    An informal monthly social meetup open to all trans and nonbinary people (16+) in Glasgow

    You will get the chance to learn new techniques using clay – from beginning to handle clay, to glazing and painting. Morna will guide you through creating ornaments, objects, and more.

    This is a space for all LGBTQ+ folks wanting to learn new skills, be creative and meet others.

    You do not need to have worked with clay before, this workshop is for complete beginners.

    If you have worked with clay before, or attended Clay Time when it ran previously, we would also love to have you join us.

    We welcome the entire diversity of the lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) community including non-binary, queer, intersex, asexual people and all identities under the LGBTQIA+ umbrella.

    We also welcome people who aren’t sure about their sexual orientation/gender identity, or who do not use labels for either.

  • Mental Health Support - LGBT Health and Wellbeing

    Note: this service is only for LGBTQ+ people

    We offer individual support sessions which you can use to discuss any issues around your sexuality, gender identity or mental health. We can offer support by phone, email, online meeting, and in-person meeting.

    We also run a counselling service in Glasgow which offers 11 consecutive sessions (once a week).
