Following a diagnosis and during cancer treatment life often becomes much more stressful – both mentally and physically. Our complementary therapies are designed to help relieve your pain and relax your mind, with benefits that go far beyond an hour of calm during a chaotic time.

Talking openly about cancer is difficult, but whether it’s the fear of recurrence, living life with cancer, being a burden, facing the unknown, or simply finding the right words, our aim is to make it easier. Through our new support group ‘The Next Chapter’ you will have the support of our trained team and peers to identify the things that are concerning you most, reflect on your experiences, and think about the future.

Our courses are run in a small group setting which creates the perfect environment to learn new calming techniques and share your experience with others if you want to.

For those affected by cancer and their carers, Mindfulness can be a powerful tool in being able to support your wellbeing and provide you time to be fully present and engaged in the moment. It’s a helpful tool to support you in being aware of your thoughts and feelings without distraction of judgement.

Our free ‘Here for You’ befriending service provides people affected by cancer with regular contact with one of our highly skilled volunteers who will provide a friendly listening ear
