Description

Thriving Survivors aims to Re-Empower, Re-Integrate and help to Re-Employ people who face barriers and social exclusion as a result of suffering ill health and disabilities or who suffer with mental health conditions as a result of a traumatic event.

We want our clients to feel safety and unity at all times and with each volunteer having previously experienced a level of misfortune themselves.

Thriving Survivors prides itself on the fact that understanding and compassion are two of core components in our holistic approach to empowerment and employability for those who need it most.

Services include:

  • Discovering Me - an 8 week series of workshops that provides those who take part with a toolkit to becoming the very best version of themselves following a traumatic event in their lives. Discovering Me is supported by our free onsite childcare facility.
  • Discovering You - an adaptation of our core service Discovering Me. This particular programme is aimed at young people aged 12 - 18 to help develop coping strategies and emotional awareness as a preventative measure for future struggles. This can be delivered 1-1 or as a group.
  • Bridge to Recovery - the second stage of the Discovering Me programme, consisting of 5 weeks of programmes with a focus on helping participants to reach their full potential in a working environment
Covid-19 Specific Support

During these uncertain times we have a revised service offering. We are able to provide emotional or practical support on a weekly basis to those who need it most. One of our team members will phone you every week to ensure you are ok and that you have everything you need.

We will also be providing supermarket vouchers and access to certified online training courses for all our clients during this period.
