Storehouse is a practical service set up by Glasgow Vineyard to meet the immediate and long term needs of those who are destitute in the North and West of Glasgow, with a specific focus on Drumchapel, Knightswood, Anniesland and the surrounding areas. The aim is to give the assurance of food to those in greatest need. Storehouse food bank gives out food and toiletries hampers every Saturday morning (10.00 – 12.00) from the Vineyard Centre, Linden Street, in Anniesland.
During the covid19 crisis churches may no-longer be meeting together on a Sunday or coming together in people's houses for Small Groups, but our work continues.
We have a team of people developing new ways to connect remotely through the internet using online video, video conferencing and social media.
Small groups continue to meet online and our pastoral teams still care for and pray for those in need.
Our kids team is busy pioneering online parent and baby groups and kids church.
Our compassion team is working hard to ensure that our food bank 'Storehouse' is able to provide food and essential toiletries to those in greatest need in ways which protect it's clients and volunteers.
Provides food parcels. Saturday 10:00-12:00. Phone weekdays, except Tuesdays.
