St Paul's Youth Forum was set up in 1997 to provide a range of services throughout the North East of Glasgow. We are based in the communities of Blackhill and Provanmill where we run a diversionary youth work programme, including youth clubs for young people of all ages. We also run a youth-led radio; BOLT FM, which works in schools and communities throughout the North East of Glasgow, as well as a bike project helping young people learn to ride, build, and maintain their own bicycles, and a community garden and food project; Blackhill's Growing, which tries to address the food poverty in our community in a dignified way through participant-led activities, community meals and a non-referral based food bank
We are currently running weekly free take-home Community Meals and referral free food bank every Wednesday 5-6pm. People can come and collect a delicious freshly prepared three course meal to take home to their households, whilst also helping themselves to free household food staples from our food bank. There will also be fresh fruit and veg on offer, this is sold at wholesale prices to cover the cost of purchasing. All this is available every Wednesday 5-6pm from our back garden off of Greenrig street behind the church, and all necessary physical distancing and hygiene measures are in place.
