To provide emergency food and fuel support to vulnerable members of our community. Those at high risk from the Covid-19 virus or unable to shop and those unable to access funds to purchase food or suffering with poor mental health at these difficult times. We also work closely with Glasgow North Baby Food Bank to provide baby products and warm clothing, nghomes, Springburn Salvation Army and Glasgow North Community Food Initiative.
A referral process, those in need will receive a food parcel and then we require an email referral from a professional - someone from their housing association, GP surgery staff, community links, social work, support workers etc. Referrers must know their circumstances.
A week's worth of groceries, prescription uplift and delivery, access to baby products and warm clothing and funding for fuel support.
