Skills Development Scotland (SDS) is the national skills body.
We deliver Scotland’s careers service in schools, in SDS centres, through our Helpline and online at My World of Work.
You can find our careers advisers in every state secondary school in Scotland.
Beyond school, you can speak to a careers adviser in any of our SDS centres or in a community location. We offer expert career information, advice and guidance to customers of all ages.
Our services are free to use and can support you with:
- Getting into work, learning or training
- Changing careers
- Upskilling or reskilling
- Redundancy
- Returning to employment after a career break
