We are an internationally renowned arts centre dedicated to the sustainable growth and development of the Scottish Mask & Puppet Centre as a permanent theatre, museum and education institute.
We work at local, national and international levels in the interests of cultural democracy and diversity, through the quality of our work, forward planning, creative intercultural exchanges and exemplary partnerships, to promote a passion and access to creativity for the commonweal of Scotland.
During lockdown, The Scottish Mask & Puppet Centre started a process of refurbishment and renovation with the valued support of museums and galleries Scotland, creative Scotland, visit Scotland, Glasgow City Council Business Strategic Framework and local Area Fund.
At this moment in time, while work is still ongoing, we are remaining closed. We are very much looking forward to reopening with our museum, new gallery and shop, plus upgraded cafe and kitchen.
