Quarriers Family Centre and Nursery work in partnership with Health and Social Care, Education and other voluntary sector organisations across the North East of Glasgow to provide effective services than enable children, young people and families to achieve better outcomes. We offer a range of holistic family intervention services working with children and their families affected by multiple adversities.
Through a team of experienced family practitioners the Family Centre offers 1-1 support for families referred for support with isolation, practical parenting, addiction issues, domestic violence, mental health and income maximisation. Support is based around the GIRFEC framework using SHANARRI indicators and delivering parenting support using Solihull.
Our Maternal Wellbeing service offers support for parents both antenatal and postnatal through 1-1 and group support.
The Family Centre is a bright and welcoming space where groups are delivered to reduce isolation, build relationships, support parenting, bonding and attachment, language development through story and rhyme.
The attached nursery provides high quality childcare for children aged 0-3yrs old. Sessions are offered to working parents, parents in further education and community based sessions to families experiencing barriers to day to day living.
