Support for trans people, including nonbinary people in Scotland
COVID19: please note that due to the coronavirus pandemic, we’ve had to suspend all our face to face services and events. All our staff is now working remotely from home and you can still contact us via email (name@lgbthealth.org.uk). We have moved most of our service delivery online including our programme of social events. Follow us on social media or subscribe to our newsletters to stay the most up to date with our support and events.
At LGBT Health and Wellbeing, you can access a variety of confidential and free support, to help you along your transition journey, whatever direction you want to go.
Individual support
Talk to a member of staff to find out more about gender and transition services and information. You might not be sure how we can help so why not chat to us about your needs so we can figure out together what services would best fit you.
Social support
Connect with other trans people and build confidence around your gender identity during monthly and quarterly social events and workshops.
Transition support courses
Explore transition at our annual weekend courses, designed to give you a space to think about your gender identity and how to keep well.
Community groups
Find out about a range of trans community groups throughout Scotland, setup and managed by trans people, providing safe spaces to come together and support each other.
Can I access your services?
We welcome trans female/feminine, trans male/masculine, genderqueer, non-binary identities as well as intersex people, people who cross dress or who are exploring their gender identity. Anyone in or travelling to Scotland can access our services, but they are delivered in Edinburgh and Glasgow.
