Description

The aim is to recycle any children's items from your home that you no longer require and in return we provide a facility to play for free and possibly take home something special! We support community projects & have identified the need to have a Glasgow base. We employ through the Youth Employability Hub and offer qualifications. We also provide employment through Glasgow Commonwealth Jobs Fund.
There are volunteers from vulnerable backgrounds, work experience individuals, Princes Trust, Mentally & Physically handicapped volunteers, school age children, retired helpers and many more kind people who would like to use their time for community work and activities involving families. We will continue to work with other charitable organisations to encourage recycling, voluntary and work experience placements. Our shops stock all children's items from 0-12 yrs. It is a mixture of new, second-hand and donations. Most common are clothes/shoes, DVDs, toys, board games but also furniture e.g. cots, changing tables, prams....
It is a lot of hard work but so rewarding. There are too many people who are considered in a vulnerable group and we like to think our social responsibility is to make sure they can have provisions in place and their children have a safe and fun place to play...thank you for liking our page!
