6 Broughton Street Lane, Edinburgh, UK
Humanist Society Scotland is part of a UK, European and wider international movement of people and organisations. In Scotland, Humanist Society members have a clear vision of a secular Scotland, and the activities that Humanist Society Scotland can pursue to achieve that end.
Humanist Society Scotland’s local groups are based in the Borders, Edinburgh, Fife, Glasgow and the Highlands (Inverness). These groups offer members (and non-members) a chance to meet other Humanists for interesting talks, discussion, socialising and much more. Membership of Humanist Society Scotland entitles you to attend their meetings, film nights, debates and social occasions.
We also run StreetCare Scotland - a volunteer led initiative run by Humanist Society Scotland to help people in need on the streets of Scotland’s cities. StreetCare Glasgow has been running for the past eight years and works with other support agencies in the city as well as church and other communities groups carrying out similar work
