Home-Start Glasgow North and North Lanarkshire

Home-Start Glasgow North and North Lanarkshire supports families with young children who are facing difficulties. We recognise the ongoing challenges of raising our children in the safest and most nurturing of environments whilst coping with the stresses of poor mental health, physical health, isolation, disrupted relationships, poor & insecure housing, financial insecurity, trauma, abuse and loss. Sometimes, we also just need someone to talk to, to be there to hear us.

We support vulnerable families with at least one child under 5 years of age living in North Glasgow or North Lanarkshire. We provide one to one home visiting volunteers; group support and Video Interactive Guidance.

We support families through pregnancy, perinatal phase and beyond. We support families intensively through perinatal low mood mental health issues whilst waiting for specialist support.
