Description

Glasgow's Golden Generation provide support to older adults all over Glasgow. Main services range from: 3 day care centres; befriending services; clubs and benefits advice

The charity runs three Day Care Centres, which focus on reducing loneliness and social isolation through communal meals and activities each day of the week.

We also provide a Befriending service and send out volunteers who visit older adults in their homes, aiming to keep their clients more active and involved in their communities.

We support over 100 social clubs throughout Glasgow, providing a chance for the elderly to meet up regularly with peers.

Finally, we offer professional benefits advice; our skilled team of Welfare officers can guide you through the complicated benefits system & help you apply for a range of benefits and entitlements.
