We work with adults and children who are vulnerable and disadvantaged in Glasgow; people that are often leading chaotic or difficult lives. We want to help them to break free from their oppressive situations.
Usually, we offer an evening drop in service and daytime activities and one to one support.
Overnight Welcome Centre
Replacing the Winter Night Shelter and will be based in a local hotel, be a 24 hour service and allows space for distancing and self-isolation if required. The shelter has capacity of 40 beds and runs from Dec 1st to 31st March
Our drop-in at 20 Crimea Street is open from 10am until 8pm, Monday-Friday, for 32 guests at a time. We serve breakfast 10:00am to 12:30pm; lunch 1:00pm to 4:00pm and dinner 6:00pm to 7:30pm. Project workers are on hand at all times to advocate for our guests regarding their needs.
Our Urban café is open for music lessons and college classes. We are also working with some guests to get them into employment.
Many of our groups are now meeting outside including our new cycling club.
Our counselling service is operating in Crimea Street and some activities continue online, such as Bible studies, prayer times, cookery lessons, and English classes.
Our street outreach teams are out on the streets of Glasgow 11 times a week to engage with and support those in need and encourage them to seek the help they need.
