The Compassionate Distress Response Service supports people experiencing acute emotional distress.
Our team of Distress Response Workers and Coordinators provide a listening ear to those referred into the service and support them to develop a plan of action to help alleviate their feelings of distress.
The service provides face to face support at a city centre base as well as telephone support and outreach when people are unable to travel.
The support is for young people between the ages 16-25
The service operates from 9am to 5pm, Monday to Friday
Referral pathway is by CAMHs, Schools, further education institutions, Social work and Youth Health Services.
