Community InfoSource (CIS) is a grassroots charity working with marginalised asylum seekers and refugees to help put their ideas into action. Of our 8 directors; 4 are from a refugee background and 5 are BME. Staff and volunteers from refugee and asylum seeking backgrounds are integral to our work. CIS uses our range of experience and expertise to support individuals; communities; and organisations to develop skills; systems; and services. We support isolated communities and individuals; working with community-based organisations; the voluntary sector and local authorities.
