At African Challenge Scotland, we are passionate about developing the talents and potential of Black Asian Minority Ethnic young people in Glasgow and wider area, and we want boys and girls from Black Asian Minority Ethnic to discover and develop their talents and to strive for high standards. Given the right tools and education, every young person can achieve success in today's global economy.
Children and young people are encouraged to make the most of the numerous opportunities on offer at African Challenge Scotland to improve their mental and physical wellbeing. These include composition of youth ambassadors, training and development of young people, youth employment and work experience, performance analysis, transfer values, career development and best prospects, football, basketball, gymnastics, handball, table tennis, badminton, dance, music, swimming, wrestling, karate, kayaking as well as training in IT skills, public speaking, power point presentations, enterprise, engineering and media, for example.
We are a busy hardworking community that puts achievement, respect for each other and integrity at the centre of life. We want young people to be focused, well-rounded and above all happy individuals. We aim to develop in our young people the love of learning and the ability to think for themselves and to go on learning which will prepare them for the fast changing world of their adult lives.
African Challenge Scotland volunteers are providing essential support to families across Glasgow during this unprecedented times, including delivery of food parcels and essential items.
