If you have a child who has been diagnosed or is waiting for assessment, or if you work with children and you’re looking for information and training, you’ve come to the right place.
We exist to support parents of children with ADHD and associated conditions (ASD; sensory issues; dyspraxia etc) who live in the Glasgow area. We offer training; peer support and activities for kids.
Being a parent to a child (or adult) with ADHD can be really tough - and whether you've just had a diagnosis or known your child has ADHD for some time, we're here to help.
The group brings people together to learn about the condition and become confident and effective parents.
We provide information and support through regular meetings and a virtual meeting space on Facebook, and we aim to improve local health and education services .
We also run a monthly ADHD youth club at the Heart of Scotstoun Community Centre in collaboration with DRC Youth Project .
Face to face meetings have been suspended since March 2020 due to COVID so we have been meeting on Zoom.
Meetings are only open to group members. Join us now (it's totally free!)
We hope to go back to meeting in Heart of Scotstoun Community Centre, with the monthly ADHD youth group, from then, but we may continue with some Zoom meetings as well.
You can request telephone support at any time by emailing us and we'll be happy to give you a call.
