12 Guitars is a Social Enterprise formed in April 2019 in Glasgow with a mission to enable young people to optimise their musical talent.
We are achieving this by providing musical instruments, equipment and access to tuition and support, free at the point of use to ensure that guitar playing is accessible to all young people. The benefits from guitar playing for a young person and the opportunities that can arise from playing are many.
During lockdown we are continuing to deliver classes online for the Glasgow Home Education Group. We are currently exploring how we can accomplish similar programmes for our other clients.
